Good news for all the rock fans around the world. NetEnt is about to complete their rock trilogy and release the Motorhead slot this September. Theme of the game will most certainly be built around Lemmy Kilmister, who was the singer, bassist and songwriter of the famous band.
It is a well-known fact that Kilmister ‘s main passion, besides music, was gambling, depicted in one of their biggest hits “Ace of Spades”, which could easily be the main soundtrack of the 2016 release.
NetEnt have done a damn good job with Guns N’ Roses slot, as well as with Jimi Hendrix, introducing some magnificent extra features, top-notch graphics and, of course, soundtracks that rock your brains out. We expect nothing less from the Motorhead slot.
The founders of NetEnt established their company in Stockholm, Sweden in 1996 and quickly became one of the leaders in online gaming industry. They are spread all around the globe with offices in Malta, Ukraine, Gibraltar and USA. In order to celebrate the 20-years-of-innovation anniversary, in 2016 they started the NetEnt Rock Tour, introducing three impressive slots featuring real rock legends, the third being released in September.
How To Play It
NetEnt used a five-reel slot with twenty fixed paylines in both of their previous rock slots, so there is a big chance that Motorhead will be made in the same way. The only thing that is expected to vary is the coin value, probably between $0.01 to $1.00, and the bet level, from 1 to 10, which would make the maximum bet an impressive $200.
Apart from the main figure of this band, Lemmy Kilmister, who should be presented as a top paying icon, we will have to wait and see whether NetEnt decides to use the classic Motorhead line-up on the symbols, featuring Clarke and Taylor, or the latest band members Campbell and Lee. The only certain thing is that playing cards will function as low paying symbols, as in the previous two slots.
The screenplay remains a mystery, but do expect a good intro, Motorhead’s biggest hits and a whole bunch of special features. Concerning the graphics and animations, we do not believe these will be a disappointment, after an excellent job with Jimi Hendrix and Guns N’ Roses.
Ace of Spades was presumably the favourite card of Lemmy Kilmister, so we do assume this particular playing card will have a certain role in one of the special features.
Taking under consideration the success NetEnt made with Guns N’ Roses special features, chances are the developers will adjust some of them, such as Appetite for Destruction Wild with an overlay Wild symbol, Encore Free Spins or Crowd-Pleaser Bonus game, triggered by Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5, or they could turn to some of Jimi Hendrix psychedelic features such as Purple Haze, and Pick and Click, stacked with different kinds of rewards, multipliers, free spins and all sorts of Wilds.
However, we are talking about NetEnt, so there is a big possibility we will witness a bunch of new special features and innovative additions, just to keep things interesting, but the core pattern should remain the same in order to follow the original idea of the rock series.
Jimi Hendrix slot offered up to $80,000 in maximum payouts, while Guns N’ Roses offered the maximum payout around $75,000. Truth being told, anything within this ratio will do the job for the new NetEnt product, since we do not believe Lemmy would be so stingy and offer us a miserable sum as the biggest prize, considering his passion for gambling.
Even though Kilmister says that “gambling’s for fools”, he would have certainly tried the 2016 release if he had the chance, God rest his soul, since NetEnt already proved their worth with special features portrayed in previous rock editions.
Apart from Ace of Spades, we would really like to see Killed By Death, Overkill, Orgasmatron and Born To Raise Hell to be included on the playlist. There is no doubt that the developers will pay a great deal of attention on the visual sensation and we are eager to see the final product this fall, 31 years after the forming of this legendary band.
